Foreign National Students (FNS)
Citizens of any country other than India who wish to study in Maharashtra. This includes students from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, African nations, Gulf countries, Southeast Asia, and all other nations.
Non-Resident Indian (NRI)
Indian citizens who reside outside India for employment, business, or any other purpose indicating an intention to stay abroad for an indefinite period.
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / PIO
Persons of Indian origin who hold OCI or PIO cards. This includes second and third-generation Indians settled abroad who wish to study in India.
Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC)
Children of Indian nationals working in Gulf countries (UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) who wish to return to India for higher education.
Children / Wards of Seafarers
Children or wards of Indian seafarers and merchant navy personnel who maintain NRI status through their Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC). Seafarers working on international vessels qualify their children for admission under this special category with documentation from the Directorate General of Shipping.

Pay Provisional Eligibility Fee (USD $50)
Pay the non-refundable provisional eligibility fee of USD $50 via online payment. This confirms your application for processing by the CET Cell.
Pay Registration Fee (USD $1,150)
After receiving your provisional eligibility letter, pay the one-time registration fee of USD $1,150 to the CET Cell. This is separate from college tuition fees.
Get College Admission Confirmation Letter
Once your registration fee is paid, colleges review your application and issue admission confirmation letters based on merit and seat availability. You may receive multiple offers but can confirm only one seat.
Travel & Complete Verification
Travel to Maharashtra with your original documents. Complete in-person document verification at your college. Pay college tuition fees directly to the institution. Your admission is confirmed upon successful verification.
